Is it really October already?! The summer has flown by. Summer crops are starting to slow down and the fall harvest has started. The fall squash has been picked up and the field is ready to be prepped and planted with cover crops. Several acres of potatoes have been harvested. After a rough start it ended up to be a fantastic year for potatoes and are very grateful that our cold storage will be full of potaotes to sell this winter. Work has been started on the third greenhouse and it is coming along well. The other 2 greenhouses are being planted in stages and we are anticipating having a great variety of greens for you all winter long. Tomatoes and peppers are slowing down but broccoli, brussel sprouts and cauliflower are ready. This is going to be a busy month as there are many things that need to be finished up before the snow flies.
