Freezer Beef & Pork
Fill your freezer with meats raised by your local farmer.
Our beef & pork is raised by our brother, Rob. This high quality meat will have your family coming back for seconds. When you purchase a 1/4 beef or a 1/2 hog you fill your freezer up with a large variety of cuts for many delicious meals.
The beef costs $3.25/lb hanging weight – that includes the meat, cutting and wrapping. The meat will be processed at Byron Center Meats and will come vacuum sealed and frozen.
The average hanging weight for a quarter of beef is around 200lbs.
A quarter typically includes: Round Roast, Sirloin Steaks, T-Bone Steaks, Porterhouse Steaks, Sizzler Steaks, Rump Roast, Delmonico Steak, Chuck Roast, Flank Steak, Tenderloin, Soup Bones, Stew Meat and Ground Beef. You are able to get hamburger patties for an additional cost.
The cost of pork is $2.00/lb hanging weight plus cutting and wrapping. Cutting and wrapping costs typically $125 – $150 depending on the cuts you choose.
Pork is processed at DeVries Meats.
The average hanging weight for a half of pig is 100 lbs.
A half hog typically includes: Pork Chops, Pork Steak, Pork Roast, Ham, 1 Ground Product & Bacon
How it works:
Step 1: Contact Lindsey by email or call (616) 795-2571 to save your spot. A $100 deposit is required. There is a 1 – 2 month lead time.
Step 2: The butcher will call you for your cutting instructions.
Step 3: We will call or email you know when your meat is ready. Come by the farm to pick it up!
