1 small turnip, peeled and cubed 1/2″
    3 carrots, peeled and cubed 3/4″
    3 tablespoons margarine
    dash onion powder
    splash milk or creamer
    salt and pepper, to taste


1. Add turnip and carrot into a saucepan, and pour in water almost to cover. Boil until fork tender, about 25-30 minutes.

2. Drain turnips and carrots when easily pierced with a fork. Toss in margarine, onion powder, creamer or milk, and salt and pepper, to taste.

3. Use potato masher or electric mixer and smash/blend until squishy.  Adjust seasonings as desired.

Serves: 4-6, Preparation time: 45 minutes
