• 3 cups snap peas
  • 2 T. broth or water
  • 2 T. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. Soy Sauce
  • 2 T. Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 6 T. broth or water


Prepare peas by removing strings.  Combine 2 T. broth with cornstarch and soy sauce.  Set Aside.  Heat oil and add peas.  Stir until peas are coated with oil then add sugar and remaining water.  Cover and cook 3 minutes.  Add cornstarch mixture while stirring.  Stir until thickened.  Variation:  Add ¼ c. chopped green onion with snap peas
