Your Fall Day Out in Holland, MI: Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch & Animal Barn
Looking for a fall outing in Holland, MI that the whole family will actually enjoy? Come out to Crisp Country Acres. You can get lost in the corn maze, pick your own pumpkin, and let the kids burn off energy at the playground. Most of it won’t cost you much, and some of it is free.
Get Lost (On Purpose) in Our Corn Maze
Our corn maze is more than a walk through the corn. It’s a scavenger hunt, too.
Grab a game card at the start. Then find your way through the rows, hunt for clues, and see who in your group spots them first. Kids love racing the grown-ups. Grown-ups pretend not to care who wins. (We see you.)
Corn maze admission is $4 per person. That’s one of the most affordable family activities in West Michigan, and you can easily spend an hour out there.
Tip: Wear boots or sturdy shoes. It’s a farm, and it can get muddy.
Pick Your Own Pumpkin at Our Holland, MI Pumpkin Patch
Skip the pre-picked pile. At our U-pick pumpkin patch, you walk out to the field and choose your own.
Tall and skinny? Short and chunky? Perfectly round? It’s your call. Take your time and find the one that feels right. Walking through the patch is half the fun, and the photos are great.
Pumpkin prices vary by size. Small ones are an easy, budget-friendly pick. Big ones are made for carving. Pick what fits your porch and your wallet.
Vote in the Strawtastic Showdown
While you’re here, you get a say in something fun.
Local families decorated straw bales, and now it’s up to you to pick your favorite. Walk the farm, check out the creations, and cast your vote. Some are silly, some are clever, and some will make you stop and grin.
Voting is free and open through October 31.
It’s a nice way to cheer on your neighbors, too. These families put real time and creativity into their bales, and a vote from you means a lot to them. Bring the kids and make it a game: have everyone pick a favorite, then see if you all agree.
Free: Animal Barn & Playground
Here’s the best part. Our animal barn and playground are free to visit.
Meet the animals, say hi, and let the little ones play. It’s an easy way to stretch your fall day without stretching your budget. Plan a few extra minutes for it, because kids rarely want to leave.
