Here we are — a new year, and all that resolution talk has started.

I loved the advice I heard on one of my favorite podcasts recently. (Any other Dr. John Delony show fans out there?)

Instead of making resolutions that usually fade by February, he suggests something different: decide who you’re going to be this year. It’s not about hitting a number or checking off a goal — it’s about the kind of person you want to show up as.
A few examples that really stuck with me:
I’m someone who takes care of my body.
That means moving regularly, eating good food, and getting enough rest — not just saying “I’m going to lose weight.”
I’m someone who loves people well.
That might mean doing one thoughtful thing for someone else each week — a call, a note, a small favor — because love isn’t just a feeling, it’s an action.
 I’m someone who follows through.
Not just starting things, but finishing the ones that matter. Who we become is shaped by the small choices we make day after day.

When you focus on who you want to be instead of just a list of resolutions, it’s easier to see what really matters — and to give yourself grace when things don’t go perfectly.

One thing I know about our customers is that you care about supporting local food and the people who grow it. You pick up seasonal produce, shop at farmers markets, and invest in relationships as much as ingredients.

That’s exactly the kind of intentional, identity-based choice Dr. Delony talks about — and it inspires us every single day.

Thank you for being part of this local farm community. We’re so grateful to head into 2026 with you.

PS – We are still on holiday hours this week.  Here is where you can find us.
