Ok, anyone else wondering if this snow is ever going to stop?!?

I am writing this on Monday, January 26.  Everything is white, lake affect snow is in full force.  It’s beautiful, I really don’t mind the snow – except for driving, that is not so much fun. 🙂

I felt like we needed a reminder that spring and summer are really coming.
So, enjoy a little photo tour of the fields last summer – plus a few photos from the greenhouse this past week.  Spring IS coming!

A zinnia plant in the u-pick flower field this past summer.  I am super excited to do this again this summer!  I added a few new flower varieties to my list!

Beautiful sun rise over the onion field.  You can see the cover crop growing between the onion rows.

Ahh, fresh green beans!  One of my favorite things that we grow.  I love walking by the bean plants, grabbing a handful to munch on.

Tomatoes in the U-Pick field last summer.

Lots of fresh berries to pick last June!

Some of the first cherry tomatoes ready to be picked last spring.

Little baby cucumbers in the greenhouse.  The blossoms are so pretty!

Harvesting fresh Rhubarb last spring.  We typically start with Rhubarb late April.

Did you know that all the peppers start out green, purple or yellow? If we leave them on the plants a bit longer they will start to turn colors.

Planting the tomatoes last week Wednesday.

Starting to pull the strings down in the tomatoes on Friday.

I took this picture on Sunday.  Look at how much they have grown in just a few days! They are very happy in their new home.
