Carrots are coming out of the ground, and you’ve got to see how.
Check out the harvester in action here.
That’s a whole crib of carrots, topped in about 5 minutes.
It wasn’t always like this.
For years, we harvested carrots by hand. It was often wet and cold. We crawled along the ground in rain pants (the ones with a hole in them, of course) We would spend weeks harvesting carrots in the fall.
Now? Five minutes.
Every year at harvest, we stop and look back. We think about where we started and how far we’ve come.
And every year, we’re struck by how thankful we are for the tools that make this work easier. Tools that make it possible for us to do big things!
So, come out to the markets all winter and enjoy fresh carrots! Harvested with love and our amazing harvester. 🙂
