Just for Subscription Members
Are you apart of Crisp Country Acres Veggie Subscription? This page is for you! Here you will find everything you need to know about the subscription program and how to make the most of your veggie boxes.
Tips for Subscription Success
1. Plan before pickup
-
Take 2 minutes to peek at the week’s share list and make changes if needed. You can log in to make changes from Wednesday night – Sunday at 10am.
-
Build meals around what’s in your box instead of shopping first.
-
Think flexible meals like grain bowls, stir-fries, soups, and salads.
2. Unpack right away
-
Don’t let your box sit in the car.
-
Wash, dry, and store produce as soon as you get home.
-
A little prep now = way less waste later.
3. Storage matters
-
Some veggies like to stay dry (Potatoes, onions, garlic).
-
Some love moisture (greens in a bag with a paper towel.)
-
If you’re unsure—ask us! We’re always happy to help.
4. Embrace seasonality
-
Early season boxes may feel lighter—this is completely normal.
-
Late season boxes are often fuller and heartier.
-
You’re eating with the seasons, just as nature intended.
5. Try something new
-
You might receive a veggie you’ve never cooked before—don’t panic.
-
Keep it simple: roast it, sauté it, or toss it into a salad.
-
Our recipes are here to inspire, not overwhelm.
6. Use the “first in, first out” rule
-
Eat the most delicate items first (greens, herbs).
-
Save roots and storage crops for later in the week.
7. Don’t overthink cooking
-
Salt, olive oil, and heat go a long way.
-
Roasting brings out natural sweetness in almost everything.
-
Perfect doesn’t matter—real, nourishing food does.
