Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. spaghetti
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. green pepper
  • 2 c. peeled, seeded and chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. paprika
  • 1 T. Sugar
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Directions:

Cook spaghetti and drain well.  Melt butter and saute onion and green pepper for 5 minutes.  Add all but cheese and spaghetti.  Simmer about 10 minutes. Add cooked spaghetti and mix well.  Add 1/2 c. cheese.  Put into a baking dish and top with remaining cheese.  Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.  Variation:  Add browned ground beef or sausage.
