Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ lb chicken, cut up
  • 1 qt. water
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 c. chopped carrots
  • 2 tsp. salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 c. thin noodles, uncooked

Directions:

Bring all but noodles to a boil in a large kettle.  Cover and simmer until chicken is done, about 45-60 minutes.  Skin fat if necessary.  Remove chicken and debone.  Cook noodles according to directions.  Add noodles and chicken to soup.  Heat through.
