• 8 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3 large onions, peel and cut into rings
  • ¾ water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp. butter or margarine
  • 10 med. Potatoes, peeled and cut up
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Directions:  Place carrots and onions in ¾ cup water; add salt and butter.  Cook until tender and drain.  In the meantime cook potatoes until done.  Drain and Mash the carrots and onions thru the mashed potatoes.  Mix well together.  Serve with beef and gravy.
