• 1 lb ground beef
  • 15 oz. can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 head of lettuce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2-4 c. taco chips
  • 1 c. French dressing


Brown ground beef.  Drain excess grease.  Add kidney beans, chili powder and salt.  Simmer 10 minutes.  Tear lettuce into bite size pieces and put in a large bowl.  Add tomatoes, onion and cheese.  Mix in meat mixture and slightly crushed taco chips.  Stir in 1 cup dressing or pass with salad.
