- 6 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 T. flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 T. butter
- Miniature marshmallows
- ½ c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 c. thin cream or evaporated milk
Directions:
Cook sweet potatoes until tender. Drain and peel. Slice ½ to ¾ inch thick and arrange in a buttered casserole or 9 by 13 pan. Combine sugar, flour and salt. Sprinkle over sweet potatoes. Do with butter marshmallows and nuts. Pour cream over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
