• 10 beets, medium size
  • 4 apples, peeled, cored, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Seasonings to taste

1. Boil beets in salted water for about 30 minutes.
2. Put under running cold water.
3. Peel and slice them.
4. Put beets, apples, butter and seasonings in a sauce pan.
5. Cover.
6. Let cook for about 5 minutes.
7. Then serve
