I was listening to a podcast this past week and heard a surprising statistic:
The average piece of produce travels over 1,500 miles from farm to grocery store. That is an average of 7 – 10 days from the farm to the grocery store.
That’s a long journey, and unfortunately, it means losing some of the good stuff along the way. The longer it takes to get to your plate, the more nutrients and flavor get left behind.
At Crisp Country Acres, we’re all about bringing you the freshest and most nutritious produce possible.
When you buy from us, you’re getting produce that’s been harvested at its peak ripeness, bursting with flavor and packed with nutrients. Plus, buying local means you’re supporting your community. It’s a good thing all around!
Thank you for choosing Crisp Country Acres. We love being your local farm and are looking forward to another year of providing you with the freshest produce around.
See you soon!
