- 4-5 c. shredded cabbage
- 8 strips of bacon
- vinegar
- 2 T. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Place cabbage in bowl. Fry bacon until crisp; crumble over cabbage. In the same skillet, combine drippings and an equal amount of vinegar; add sugar and salt. Heat to boiling pour over cabbage. Toss lightly. Serve warm.
