Several years ago, we had a dream: to farm year-round.

Back then, we could only sell produce from May to November. For the remaining four months, we had to find other work to supplement our income, causing significant stress.

Determined to sell produce year-round, we experimented with greenhouse growing.  While some efforts succeeded and others failed, we learned and
expanded our greenhouse production.

We knew how cold storage worked and had small coolers, but we needed to expand our cold storage capacity.  We worked on adding larger coolers and equipment to store the root vegetables.

It first started with a few restaurant deliveries.  Then a winter market opened, and we started a CSA program.  It took several years, but we achieved our goal!

Today, we have a year-round income, not just for us but for the majority of our team as well.

We now attend two winter farmers markets and have the Market at the Farm open year-round. We offer a summer and winter CSA. Area restaurants and businesses get deliveries from the farm three days a week.

As we approach the anniversary of that first restaurant delivery, we reflect on our journey and feel immense gratitude.  We are incredibly thankful to do what we love and provide year-round stability for ourselves and our team.
