• 3 medium potatoes, peeled
  • 1 large rutabaga, peeled
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 T. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions:  Cut potatoes and rutabagas into chunks.  Cook in separate saucepans until tender.  Add sugar to rutabaga cooking water.  Mash potatoes and rutabaga together.  Beat in butter, salt and pepper until smooth and fluffy.  Add hot milk if needed.
